Hi! I am a Licensed Social Worker, with a speciality in Mental Health. I am devoted to helping adolescents, young adults, and adults overcome obstacles that life throws at us. I believe in working collaboratively with my client's to set and achieve goals, process traumatic experiences, and explore healthy coping mechanisms. I use evidenced based practices, such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy to help create effective and long standing change.

My diverse experience has helped to shape the clinician I am today.  I have experience working for CPS, as a school social worker, where I was able to provide goal orientated therapy to middle and high school aged students. I have worked as an individual adult therapist for a not for profit agency, providing therapy to individuals struggling with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Substance Use, and Mood Disorders. I am currently employed as a case worker in a hospital setting, on an acute adult psychiatric crisis unit. I work with individuals to treat mental health crisis, such as psychosis, suicidal ideations, and Bipolar episodes. It is important that you choose your therapist. No, really. It’s a relationship, just like any other, and the person you choose can make all the difference. Therapy is made to be a journey, where there is someone looking for clarity, new life, or just a guide to another place, and that someone enlists the aid and support of a trained professional that can spend the time and energy in this journey with them. Scott’s goal is to be the best possible guide and support that he can be to anyone looking for a new beginning or even a fresh take on an old viewpoint.

Scott has over ten years of experience in the mental health field, working as not only a licensed psychotherapist, but also as an inpatient mental health counselor and psychiatric social worker. Scott’s approach to therapy is quite simplistic, yet effective: treat all individuals as just that, individuals. He understands that there is not a “one size fits all” treatment plan and that every single person that comes through the door is a unique and complex being.

Scott graduated from National Louis University in 2018 with his Master of Science degree in clinical counseling and therapy. While in graduate school, Scott was an intern at LSC Therapy, a private practice counseling center for individuals and families. Before that, he knew that counseling and mental health was his passion and graduated in 2010 from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, as well as a minor in history. Scott’s experience includes working on inpatient psychiatric units that have treated children, adult, and geriatric patients. Scott has effectively diagnosed and treated patients and clients that suffer from all ailments and diagnoses, including, but not limited to bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders. Scott also has experience in helping individuals from all communities, including the LGBTQi+ community, as well as people from all cultural backgrounds. If Scott sounds like the therapist you want to help guide and support you, please schedule an appointment to get the journey started.

Does the life you wanted for yourself seem distant or out-of-reach? Does the person you aspire to be look different than how you feel now? Do you feel depressed or anxious? Do you feel like you’re in a bad situation? Are you unsure of how to get yourself out of it? I understand what it’s like to know the growth and change that can come from taking a first step.

I’m interested in helping adults, teens, couples, and families make sense of their experiences and relationships, identifying stumbling blocks to growth and change, and providing support as you create/build a life that is satisfying to you. I’m particularly interested in working with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, bipolar, intimacy issues and a variety of life transition issues.

I’m a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Illinois and a nationally certified counselor who’s worked in a variety of settings ranging from inpatient, outpatient therapy, and the judicial setting including serving on Kane county’s mental health court.  Through these experiences I’ve learned the most important thing to any meaningful change in a person’s life is the quality of the relationship between me, the therapist, and you, the client. This is why I use a relational, person-centered approach that is built on trust, empathy, and respect.

Hello! My name is Tiffany Sanchez and I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, teens and adults through the setting of community mental health and inpatient psychiatric setting. I believe that “Mental health…is not a destination, but a process. It is about how you drive, not where you’re going” and as your therapist, I want to help you take back the control and stay in the driver’s seat. I have a B.A in Psychology from DePaul University and a Master’s in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University and currently pursing my Doctoral Degree in Criminal Justice with a specialty in policing thru Northcentral University. I currently work on staff on an inpatient psychiatric hospital unit and use various therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Model and a Person-Centered approach to help navigate life stressors, process areas of acceptance in our lives that we struggle the most with and regain control in areas of our lives that we felt the most disconnected with.

I have been raised by a father who immigrated from Cuba and a Puerto Rican mother that has taught me inclusion and have demonstrated the importance of overcoming financial and social barriers as well as defining perseverance. Through my diverse background it has afforded me the opportunity to break the stigma of mental health and work with individuals and families of all ethnicities and strengthen the communication across family dynamics.

In addition to being bilingual in Spanish, I have extensive experience working with Mood Disorders, Conflict Resolution, self-harming behaviors, addiction, family conflict, low self-esteem, cultural assimilation, relationship issues, and a variety of other areas that contribute to my eclectic approach. I hope you that you allow me to help you jump back in the driver seat and navigate your own mental health journey.

Where can you find an hour each week or every other week to just talk through things and talk about yourself? No, really, where do we find those unbiased non-judgemental conversations? Therapy! It can be a difficult and scary step for some, but you don't have to go through it alone. I am here for you!

Hi, my name is Ashley, a Licensed Social Worker, and I have a background in Mental Health. I have a background working with children and adults. I have worked outpatient therapy, been a sexual assault advocate, provided mental health therapy, been a supervisor for family preservation programs to keep families in-tact, middle school social worker services, and school social worker for elementary age students. Through my years of experience I have learned that connecting with an individual where they are at, is the most important part to change.

I have found that I have a passion helping others to overcome daily stressors, improve low self-esteem and learn to manage anxiety and depression. I enjoy working with adults and children. I don't think anyone should have to go through it alone. I work best with individuals looking to be encouraged and willing to try new things. If you are looking for someone who will challenge you, you've come to the right place.

My goal is to build your tool box! You are the only one who can do the work, I can support you through it, guide and educate, but ultimately it is up to you to put in the work. I believe in a mind and body connection. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, coping skills/strategies, strengths based therapy, and play therapy to help individuals achieve a better balance in life.
